Post-Treatment Instructions
For the first 24–48 hours after your treatment, we recommend:
● Avoid smoking for 24 hours. Avoiding smoking for longer can help maintain your results.
● Limit dark-coloured beverages such as coffee, tea, cola and other dark soft drinks for up to 48 hours.
● Avoid dark-coloured sauces and foods, such as ketchup, mustard, soy sauce and heavily coloured foods, for up to 48 hours.
● Limit strongly pigmented fruits and vegetables, such as berries, during the first 48 hours.
● If your teeth feel sensitive, avoid very cold or hot foods and beverages until the sensitivity subsides.
● Follow your whitening professional’s instructions regarding brushing and oral hygiene following your treatment.
Sensitivity
Some clients may experience temporary tooth sensitivity following a whitening treatment. If sensitivity occurs, follow the aftercare recommendations provided by your whitening professional and use products designed for sensitive teeth if recommended.
If you experience significant, persistent or unusual pain, please consult your dentist.
